Posted: 30 Aug 2013 10:13 PM PDT

Hi guys, Yesterday's video blog by Miles Jacobson confirmed significant improvements of news section in FM 2014. The video is very interesting and you shouldn't miss it. What I like here: Internal UI controls in news text which certainly improve user experience. Just amazing! Coloured vertical lines that show different types of news What I dislike: It seems light FM 2014 skin has too bright

And I'm starting with personal awards given to my players. This is for those who think I paid too much for Rodrigo:   I am not surprised to see Promutico becoming the best young player of the year. He is merely awesome and needs just some experience to be

Hello my dear readers, Another step to season 8 trophies made by Nottingham Forest. It really seems it should become the most glorious season in my history ever. Lots of goals scored during the latest 30 days of Nottingham Forest story. First of all, I'd like to single out Alessandro Promutico who seized on Fierro's injury and turned into a real goal machine. Results We're at the top. Sure,

Danny Batth in FM 2013

Posted: 05 Aug 2013 10:10 PM PDT

Hello my dear readers, As you understand today I would like to discuss with you Danny Batth in Football Manager 2013. Danny is not a world class centre back, but he is one of continental level guys who improved Forest defensive line quite much. I would say Batth is pretty similar to Jamaal Lascelles, perhaps a little bit better and reliable as DC. Let's take a look how he has been performing in

GXP Will Return

Posted: 06 Aug 2013 10:35 AM PDT

It’s been a long time since our last update, very long indeed. So much has happened since 2011. Yes I’ve still been gaming, playing my Xbox 360 and obtaining achievements. Not quite on the same scale as before (my current gamerscore is 68,865), but I’m gradually getting back into the swing of things.

With the new Xbox One coming later this year I feel it’s time for an upgrade here too! The next generation! I’ve still not yet quite settled on which console to get next (Xbox One or PS4), but I feel I will stay with Microsoft’s baby once the dust has settled, price lowered, and we get to hear feedback on any nasty surprises (The RRoD caused me a lot of pain and upset).

I would LOVE to test out the Xbox One on day of release, but I have far too many other financial commitments at the moment. Boo! So, when this blog update hits with it’s re-launch it may be a combination of old and new in terms of gaming. I’m thinking it may feature Xbox 360 games quite heavily for atleast another year. Time will tell how well it remains to be supported. Gaming on a budget might be an interesting category to add to the blog!

In the meantime, I’m likely to post a few updates relating to my gaming experiences, opinions and gamerscore, but expect something BIG later this year! I hope to set a decent chunk of time aside to get this site back on track. Fingers crossed!

See you guys online! ;-)

Great home win over Man City!

Posted: 03 Aug 2013 11:15 PM PDT

Hi guys! Hope you enjoy reading my blog. Today's post is quite short but it's only because I couldn't withstand to write it after so great victory in Premier League. Manchester City with their Premier League squad #1 by strength was easily beaten at the City Ground! Line-ups   They had Brazilian leading centre back Dede injured. It influenced on Man City defence's reliability quite much I think.

If it were not away defeats in Premier League…

Posted: 31 Jul 2013 09:29 PM PDT

Hello dear readers, Time for another Forest story update. Suddenly I managed to get ill in summer. Nothing serious, not a long-term injury but just got cold ;) Anyway every thing in life has its pros and cons. And the main advantage for me is that I stayed at home and dedicated pretty much time for managing Nottingham Forest. It's the middle of December in my story now, season 8. I am pretty
