Just returned from my small trip and ready to report about the starting matches of the 10th season. The season that is number 3 for my Boston United in the Premier League.

It will be tough one because I claimed mid-table finish expectations having available much easier option of "Avoiding relegation".

I think the 10th position is awesome result for my quite renewed team!

It wasn't easy. It's the consequence of the complicated match series. Boston United started with 2 sudden losses… Then we couldn't win a PL match for 5 fixtures in row finding ourselves in the 19th position in the table. Fortunately my players showed an excellent performance winning 4 games in row after that.

There were two big failures in the matches against Manchester City and Aston Villa. Both our opponents made the advantage in 5 goals. But frankly speaking these two matches differ very much. Click on the links below to get to know the difference:

One of the positive signs of team development is that we took the 1st point in the matches versus Liverpool. Look at our past meetings:

No luck in the League Cup

Penalties is always a lottery. We were leading by penalties until after 4 strikes but young defenders Christian Rodriguez and Danilo failed their attempts…

I like how my core part of the first squad has been performing. It's reflected in their average ratings:

Robson, Danilo, Stivan, Adu - the footballers whom I bought in the previous season. They all finally got blended into the team at all and lead it to success!

I can't say the same about this season's newbies. Only Christian Rodriguez mad a good debut, other new Boston players are only starting to collaborate with others.

The best player of the starting season period is certainly Robson. Brazilian wonderkid made 2 goals and 3 assists, and showed really fine performance.

December will be very tough for my team. It would be very good if we could stay at the 10th position before the transfer window in January.
