New laptop for Football Manager 2012

Posted: 18 Oct 2011 10:25 PM PDT

Unfortunately, my old laptop didn't allow to watch matches in 3D mode in Football Manager 2012 making many lags. Its internal video card doesn't correspond to the official system requirements, and SI Games lads told me they can improve nothing for low-end video cards.

This is reason why I decided to buy a new laptop containing external graphics hardware. So now I am ready to play Football Manager 2012 using highest graphic detail level because Radeon 6470 video card copes with 3D match viewer easily.

I prepared short comparison matrix of the both laptops:

  New laptop Old laptop
Display 14'' 16''
Processor Core i5-2410, 2.3 GHz Core 2 Duo P8600, 2.4GHz
Video Card Radeon 6470, 512MB Intel HD4500 (internal)
RAM 4GB 3GB
HDD 300GB 160GB
Weight 2.4 Kg 3.2 Kg
Battery ~3 hours ~1.5 hours
FM 2012 Runs perfectly! Many lags in 3D Match View

And yes, I am Sony VAIO fanПодмигивающая рожица  They are very good in production of laptops with excellent heat and noise levels, performance, and design.
