Comparative team analysis before the 3rd season

Posted: 10 Jan 2012 09:16 AM PST

Dear readers,

I decided to make another off-season post describing current Q.P.R. squad strength in comparison with other Premier League clubs. Media prediction for the 3rd season is much better than before the last season - 9th position.

Club information

What I also like about the screen shot above is Highly Professional squad personality. It should be a reliable basement for future trophies which I hope to get in several years.

Club reputation

Club reputations

Currently I think a lot about my club reputation and the ways to improve it. You see Q.P.R. has only 3 reputation stars staying on the same level with Sunderland, Bolton, West Brom, Bristol City and even Nottingham Forrest.

Low club reputation doesn't allow to attract better players. Therefore its improvement is one of my main season targets.

Finances

Finances

Estimated club value is $102M. It's pretty good index value as for me at the moment.

Remarkable to see Arsenal at the top line in the ranking.

Premier League team comparison

Now I want you to take a look at all Team Comparison screens to see the strongest and weakest QPR sides.

General

General PL team comparison

Positive:

Well, yes, I have the youngest squad in the league and it's not a surprise. My transfer policy started to resemble Arsene Wenger's one.

Negative:

I have only 12 players with international caps. It's another side of young squad showing players' inexperience.

All Positions

All Positions comparison

Positive:

We are the 4th regarding Strength attribute. It make me thinking my players should be efficient in a ball struggle.

Negative:

First Touch and Passing average values are rather low, especially taking into account my Supersonics tactics which demands high quality ball control on very fast speed.

Goalkeepers

Goalkeepers comparison

It's difficult to estimate the screen shot adequately. My first goalie Ospina is really good. But two his subs Boaz Myhill and loaned Rob Elliot are not so impressive. They both influence all Team Ratings decreasing them much. So it's OK for now.

Defense

Defense comparison

Positive:

The best Strength and second best Jumping in the league promise that my defenders should win many headers.

Negative:

Q.P.R Heading is the 14th value. Well, it influences on the heading accuracy. My central backs probably won't score many goals during corners.

Midfield

Midfield comparison

Positive:

Q.P.R. midfielders are very good in Tackling. It's important because I have 2 DMCs in formation whom I expect to win balls.

Negative:

Stamina value is absolutely disappointing. I should be more attentive to this parameter signing new midfielders. It really matters because my tactics is based on high pressing.

Attack

Attack comparison

Positive:

Attack is the strongest Q.P.R. area now. Well, you see it.

Negative:

The only slight problem is the 18th Acceleration in the league. But I am not bothered much with it.

Europa League draw

In the end I want to share Europa League draw results. It's our debut in Europe!

Q.P.R. has got into unseeded teams frightening me a bit with several seeded clubs like Roma, Athletic, Ajax, PSG, Wolfsburg

Europa league unseeded teams

Escaped

And…drum-roll…The Rangers will play against Steaua! Hurra! Улыбка

QPR against Steaua

Awesome draw for awesome team!Подмигивающая рожица

Excited to be blogging for you,
