Exciting February

Hello dear readers,

Q.P.R. story continues, and I'm ready to share its another portion. In the last story post I wasn't sure if its reported period had been successful or not. Now it's obvious The Rangers did well during the last 13 games having 10 wins, 1 draw, and 2 losses only in the end.

What I also like much is amount of scored goals. My guys managed to score 3 or more goals in 6 matches.

Matches

Premier League

PL

Queens Park Rangers is located at the 4th line of the Premier League table. A tough competition here between us and 4 English grand clubs. Though Chelsea leaded by fantastic Hulk and goal-machine Romelu Lukaku has been performing somewhat better than other teams. Can't wait our encounter at Loftus Road!

The best matches

I would take 2 games here. First of all, 3:0 victory over Manchester City, I have never won against them with so stunning numbers on a scoreboard. This match was already described at my FM Crowd additional blog:

Q.P.R. - Manchester City 3:0

Another exciting win was over Liverpool. They didn't manage to oppose The Rangers, as a result we had an advantage in all football components and areas. Carlos Fierro scored twice, got 9.2 rating and MoM award!

Q.P.R. - Liverpool

The worst matches

Stoke game was the worst actually. After it I decided to put on transfer Sigporsson as the most inefficient forward in my team. He really looks like a transfer failure with 3 goals and 7 assists in 24(5) matches. His shot on target percentage is totally disappointed: 25%.

Read more about Stoke match and my irritation regarding strikers in it.

Bolton - QPR

QPR shouldn't loose to Bolton even though having one man out. John Fleck became the main looser of the match (why don't we have such an award!) due to his weird two-feet slide that turned into a red card…

February was absolutely exciting for Queens Park Rangers. I was honoured to get the Manager of the Month award. We didn't concede a goal in February!

Players

Worst players

Pretty happy with my players at the moment. Most of them has been performing quite confidently. There is one first squad player who is underachieving seriously. It's Kamohelo Mokotjo. Perhaps he needs more time to adapt in the team, but I am starting thinking that those blog readers were right telling me I had paid too much for the anchor man.

Bernard Holt - the best player

English regen wonderkid has been the best in my eyes during last months. This idea is underlined with Young Player of the Month awards given 3 times in row and MoM rating of Premier League.

Man of the match

Isn't he amazing being only 20 years old? Here you may find how he looked when he was 16: Squad analysis after season 3.

Season end. What prospects has Q.P.R?

Future matches

The schedule might very tough if Q.P.R. go to the finals of FA Cup and Europa League. Considering the situation, I think I should pay attention to the tournaments using the following priorities:

1. Europa League.

2. FA Cup

3. Premier League

Let me explain my point of view. Premier League is the most tough competition. Moreover, we have 2 extremely difficult matches in the end against Chelsea and Arsenal (the clubs at the first 2 lines of the PL table now). So it should be a very interesting culmination in the end. But I understand it's unlikely that we will the title having Europa League and FA Cup on a background.

Do you agree with me? What would you do if you were on my place?

Excited to blog for you,

Vitaliy Mokosiy
