Posted: 13 Aug 2012 09:14 PM PDT Dear readers, Season 8 is over. Now it's time for the squad review. I have uploaded profiles of all QPR players for you!
Team report by assistant manager
Central DefendersObviously, here I have 2 great defenders Hummels and Holt + 1 potentially star Kyle Redhead. Redhead didn't play good enough in the last season having 6.85 average rating and 73% tackling ratio only. Should I search for another centre back and move Redhead to substitution bench?
Right Defensive WingersJordi Alba showed himself as pretty good replacement for Coleman. But he is still left-footed and doesn't act like a real right flank winger. Additionally, you see Seamus Coleman is already 30 years old with his 2.5 stars given by assistant manager… All these facts mean I have to work on transfer market for this position. It should be strengthened.
ForwardsThe decisive moment of the last season happened in its end. All 3 main QPR strikers - Douglas Costa, Carlos Fierro, Daniel Bazan - got injured, and I had to rely on other guys who are young and inexperienced but really talented. Only Alonso Romero didn't let down. I expected more efficient performance from the others. As a result, Q.P.R. didn't win Champions League and Premier League. But you see the prospects of Schmitt, Alfredo Bazan, Pachequinho are really high. I think I can trust them all, and they will deliver more goals next year.
ConclusionI am sure Queens Park Rangers should have nearly the same squad next season. With some accurate dotty transfers. It's hard to disagree with this conclusion because Q.P.R. stopped in one step to win Premier League and FA Cup recently. As for the transfers, right midfielder is needed - it's quite obvious. Perhaps I should search for top-level centre back. I don't know whether I should rely on Kyle Redhead instead… What do you think?
